Two black-backed jackals wait patiently for lions to finish eating. One is standing and one is sitting. Ears are alert.

Born and raised in Central Texas, I returned after retiring from a higher ed career. I became seriously interested in photography while living in Dubai. Traveling to Asia, the Middle East, and Africa gave me opportunities to practice and hone my skill as a photographer. Now back in Texas, I'm continuing to take lessons and photograph this area and where ever I travel.
